In a beautiful symphonic evening, Maestro José María Moreno and the Malaga Philharmonic Orchestra will help us spreading the word about La Tribuna by presenting four movements from the Suite Sinfónica, one of them as a world premiere.
Moreover, it will be the first time that music from La Tribuna is performed
outside Galicia, a fact that will make this evening even more meaningful.

With this theatrical and musical event, Amigos de La Ópera of La Coruña join the festivities for the centenary of the death of Emilia Pardo Bazán, illustrious writer from La Coruña and author of La Tribuna , the novel on which our opera is based.
Javier Ozores, scriptwriter of the play and librettist of the opera, created a monologue in which Emilia Pardo Bazán ( Estíbaliz Veiga ) reviews the main aspects of her life, seeing herself reflected in aspects of Amparo, the main role of La Tribuna, illustrated by musical excerpts from the opera, sung by Virginia Tola , with Alfredo Abbati on the piano.
Stage direction by Emilio López.

A first class cast will give us a night full of emotions, premiering many passages of La Tribuna, of which we could already get a symphonic taste last year with the OSG.
In this occasion we will have singers with piano accompaniment singing various scenes of the opera, introduced by the composer himself for the public to be able to imagine the context and sceneries.
The second half will feature a bright selection of famous repertory opera and zarzuela excerpts.
