La Tribuna is exhibited in Madrid

On Friday, October 8, the exhibition Madrid in Emilia Pardo Bazán was inaugurated at the Fernán Gómez Cultural Center in Madrid, an exhibition that will continue until November 7, coinciding with the programming of an excellent theatrical adaptation of Los Pazos de Ulloa, one of her most renowned novels, along with La Tribuna.

Emilia Pardo Bazán spent a good part of her life in Madrid, a city that was of great importance to her. As part of the numerous events commemorating the centenary of her decease, Madrid City Hall intends to show with this exhibition Emilia's deep relationship with theater and music, under coordination of María Luz González Peña, director of the CEDOA (Documentation Center and Archives of the SGAE).

It is a real honor to see the general score of our opera La Tribuna exhibited there along with numerous historical material, including names like Wagner, Bretón and Chapí. We dearly hope La Tribuna can contribute to spreading the great work of Doña Emilia. More photos in our Photo Gallery.
