¡Los primeros vídeos de la gala lírica! – The first videos of the voice recital!

¡Por fin les podemos presentar los vídeos del recital lírico del 20 de octubre! Como es bastante material, les iremos presentando las escenas en varias tiradas durante esta temporada navideña. Si se registran en el blog, les llegarán los avisos a medida que se publiquen.

Acerca de los primeros dos fragmentos:

1. Aria de Chinto, "Cuántos colores": Chinto, un joven aldeano trabaja de jornalero para el padre de Amparo, vendiendo barquillo en las calles. Está perdidamente enamorado de Amparo, aún siendo despreciado por esta. En esta gran aria está en las inmediaciones de la Fábrica de Tabacos esperando la salida de Amparo, donde le canta sus penurias al mar.

2. Dúo de Ana y Amparo, "Vi esta mañana": Ana es compañera y la mejor amiga de Amparo en la Fábrica de Tabacos. Al haber notado los sentimientos de su amiga hacia Baltasar, un joven oficial burgués, le advierte de que una relación así no sería realista: "Dos mundos diferentes, imposibles son de unir". Amparo no le hace caso y responde que "El corazón no siempre engaña".

About these first two excerpts:

1. Chinto's Aria, "Cuántos colores" (How colorful ): Chinto, a young man who moved from the countryside to the city, is working as a street seller for Amparo's father. He is deeply in love with Amparo, even though she rejects and despises him. Waiting for her coming out of the tobacco factory, he expresses his desperation towards the ocean.

2. Duo of Ana and Amparo, "Vi esta mañana" (I saw this morning ): Ana is Amparo's fellow worker and best friend in the tobacco factory. As she noticed Amparo's feelings towards Baltasar, an upper-class officer, she warns her that such a relationship wouldn't be realistic: "Two different worlds, impossible to unite". Amparo doesn't accept her friend's advice and answers "The heart not always deceives us".
